Shabby Chic with Wooden Frame

I could not wait to use my new wooden frames when I got them in the mail. Wanted to try framing something else than a traditional picture and was quite happy with the result.

Aren't these girls sharing a pot of tea adorable! Gorgeous pale blue/turquoise papers from MME and flowers from Wild Orchid. Both dies are from Spellbinders.

2013 has been a busy year and living abroad I have not been able to meet my closest friends to catch up as often as I would like. My wish for 2014 is that I will get that opportunity more often, which this card represents.

Guest Designer - Country View Crafts August Challenge

Very happy and proud to be chosen as one of the Top 3 cards by Country View Crafts' June challenge! I also got the opportunity to be one of their guest designers in August and today I am presenting my first GDT creation ever:) Hope you like it!

The August Challenge at Country View Crafts is 'Quotations and Sayings'.

The theme for Country View Crafts' challenge is 'Quotations and sayings' I decided to use one of my favorite quotations I have on a stamp from Stampabilities. I just love this quotation and decided I wanted to make a feminine card with the quotation in focus! The dies are from Spellbinders (S4-233). Cardstock is 'Market' from MME. The flowers are all from Wild Orchid. The grungeboard/chipboard is from Tim Holtz and has been painted with white Tim Holtz distress crackle paint. Also put in some doilies, lace and cheesecloth. The wooden ticket is from Recollections. I also used some stuff that I found around the house - a key and some stamps:)

Good evening to everyone out there! A big package of flowers landed in my mailbox the other day so a lot of 'flowerful' creations from me nowadays:) It is Friday evening here and I just finished my last project for today listening to Sting - Fields of Gold. Great scrapping music! Wishing everyone a great weekend!

Hi everyone! 

A new package with dies landed in my mailbox a couple of days ago! Pure happiness! :) And as it has been raining heavily (flood warnings in the area) it has been just the excuse I needed to spend some hours scrapping! Found this beautiful angel image online, so had to go with a vintage creation. Dies are from Spellbinders. Chipboard is from Tim Holtz, painted white and also painted with Tim Holtz distress crackle paint.

True friends - ScrapFriends May Colour Palette

Just love the fresh colours in ScrapFriends May Colour Palette Challenge! Check out the challenge here. Inspired by the colour palette and the great LO's by ScrapFriends Design Team I made a card for a very good friend of mine and here is the result:

A vintage card - perhaps for a birthday or other occasion - inspired by Vintage Udfordring #59. The challenge was to use paint or gesso. I painted the hinges white, used some white paint around the vintage photo and also used some white paint on the tape measure.

Love for Photography

OUAS has a great sketch for their February challenge that inspired me to make this LO for my brother who loves photography. The picture on the LO is captured and edited by him and I think it is just amazing! The journalling is meant to be an inspiration to capturing the things you love to keep the inspiration coming.

Explore every day as a new journey

The first challenge of the year over @ OUAS has the theme "The start of something new". My initial thought when reading this was that every day should be be treated as a new possibility and a new journey! Every day has something new to offer and I have tried to incorporate that message into my layout.
