Clean and Simple Christmas Card

A clean and simple Christmas card in red, white and a touch of light blue. Used some leftover papers from last year, and a new stamp from Stempelglede inside the card.

Gledelig Jul

Et vintage julekort der jeg har brukt stjernedies fra Marianne som midtpunkt. Til å begynne med syntes jeg det ble litt kjedelig så pyntet opp stjernen med tykk hyssing og perler, synes det ble en bra kombinasjon! Metallpynt fra Korthobby og engelen kommer fra Wild Orchids. Julepost stempelet kommer fra North Star mens de to andre er fra Stempelglede.

My favourite time of year for scrapping is approaching fast - I have started this years Christmas cards! I have used Marianne dies for the stars, love these dies! I used a little bit of glitter on the edges of the blue star to give it a bit of a shine, but it doesn't show up that well in the pictures.  The cute angel embellishment is from Korthobby. I used a bit of white on the edges of the card to give it a softer look.

This card is for a little girl and I throughout this picture of a girl on her bike and some colourful flowers are the perfect combination for her. And she loves pink off course! On the inside I plan on placing a picture on the left hand side and there is space for a personal note on the right hand side.

Made this wedding card for a beautiful couple getting married this summer. I wanted a vintage but yet clean style and chose to keep all the flowers for the heart in white colours. Quite happy with the result myself:)

Bryllupskort

Det blir ikke så mange kort på sommeren, da går tiden stort sett med til å utnytte solen og varmen mens den er her. Men sommer er jo også bryllup så fikk satt av litt tid til er klassisk bryllupskort her om dagen. Så også i bloggen at Kreativ Scrapping har bryllup som tema for utfordringen denne måneden så legger inn kortet der. Mottakerene av kortet er kanadiske så da passet det godt å bruke et av stempelene med engelsk tekst denne gang.  

Happy Retirement!

One evening this week I checked my calendar and realised we had a retirement celebration for one of the guys at work the day after. I jumped out of the coach and was able to pull together a card in less than an hour. He is a passionate golfer and the card was well received. Not like a typical card I would make, but for some reason I don't think he is the kind of guy who would appreciate pastels, ribbons and flowers :)

Dette kortet er laget til That's So Cute Surprise der man skal la seg inspirere av ordene "Du og jeg". Jeg tenkte det måtte være perfekt for å bruke de nye "you & me" wood chipsene mine. Valgte å gå for et romantisk tema med vinterlige litt sarte, kjølige farger.  

Monochromatic style birthday card

A birthday card in a masculine monochromatic style using tones of black-grey. Just love the smoking dog!

Star die is from Marianne design. I used glue and Tim Holtz distress glitter on the biggest black rose to get a little bit of sparkle. Stamp is from North Star. I used this sketch from Cardabilities for the card:

Stjernediesen er fra Marianne Design, blad-diesene er fra Spellbinders. Alle pakkelappene er litt forskjellige, men alle er i kombinasjonen gull/hvit.

The star dies is from Marianne Design, leaf dies are from Spellbinders. All the tags are a bit different, but all have the combination gold-white.

Aren't these angels just adorable! Had to make a cute Christmas card with them. Angels are super popular for Christmas decorations back home and I love the combination angels, pearls and lace. And the pale turquoise has to be my favourite colour this season!

Christmas Gift Envelope

A cute envelope for that fits a gift card for Christmas:) Red card stock used as base for the envelope and grey with white dots used to decorate the envelope. A nice bow used to keep the envelope closed. Here is the tutorial I used.

Some snow flakes and pearls as decoration. The bird is cut out from some leftover paper. 

A cute little bell as embellishment.
